Alone With Our Dreams
We need to be reminded that often we create our own inner noise. It’s hard to sit, wait and remain open to welcome the unexpected. To allow it to wash up at our feet in its own time. Being alone with our dreams is the solitude needed to find our hidden treasures. As we patiently practice listening for the unexpected, here’s a rephrased question from the book Gift of the Sea, “What does the open dream-sea hold for you?”

May, Poets, and Dreamscapes
Another month has revealed itself with the promise of surprises ahead. This May will give us two full moons, a rarity. Mindful of today’s Scorpio Moon, I yielded to the Norse siren’s call and decided to sit here, watch and write in a local coffee shop. Poets do this kind of gazing all the time. What do they see and how do they slip into the parallel reality which reveals a deeper understanding of what we think we see. The Shared Dream, allowing different points of view
In this article I write that when we share a dream there are different ways that the dream is being perceived: the dream teller’s view, what the listener is hearing, and what the dream itself is trying to say. No matter how you approach a dream, it’s important to prepare yourself to share a dream, to be grounded in the present moment to listen to a shared dream, and to consider a third perspective…being open to the dream’s viewpoint.
