In this article I’d like to offer a brief overview about unique expressions of dreams. By getting to know your own inner space, we learn to appreciate what is revealed in our dreamscape. Dreams are not a one size fits all.

Being true to who we are meant to be – even in the dream world – is not always easy. Wouldn’t it be interesting, though, to practice allowing the dreamscape to emerge in its own way? Katharine makes the point that not all dreams look and act the same for everyone.

Samhain is a time of remembrance. So, it is a wonderful time to talk about re-membering your dreams vs remembering them. Dreams are important portals into your inner wisdom. The key phrase is your inner wisdom. Katharine offers six suggestions to help you deep listen to inner wisdom as you practice dream re-membering.

Whatever way we choose to understand the wisdom within us is a beautiful thing. The gift of inner wisdom that we each possess is our lighthouse, our guidepost, and our inner GPS. We may name it inner wisdom or defining strength or our unique genius. It’s all the same.

In my own dream exploration as well as my work with others dream moments became doorways to deeper understanding. Our inner wisdom, our unique essential energy awaits us. It’s something that we each possess.

Inner wisdom is fundamental, especially in these times of uncertainty. It’s our north star. How do we reconfigure our way forward? There are three steps we can take to find this sometimes-elusive wisdom.

Your inner wisdom appears as colorful weaving threads given to you in the dreamscape. Exploring dreams is all about observing these messages and then integrating them into life’s tapestry.

Tapping into energy or messages or patterns in dreams takes preparation. Take time to align with the present moment. Now, you are ready to hear the old energy in the dream. The Dream Circle participants begin to speak of an older presence in the dream. Pause before rushing to interpret this presence. Learn to listen first.

Dreams are like yoga sutras. They are sacred threads to inner teachings. They are the warp and weft weave threads that awaken us.
